My Process

A peak in to my illustration process

I start with loose a thumbnail sketch. It doesn't have to be good, but just needs to get my idea across.

I then make a more clear sketch of my idea. I try to get all the elements I want in the final image and make it as clear as possible.

I then clean up the sketch with line art that defines what that was unclear and finalizes everything from the sketch.

I then choose my colors and set the mood. I focus more bright colors on the focal points and choose spooky colors to match the theme of the piece.

Lastly, I render and add form to the illustration. With lighting, this is where I make things standout and add finishing touches.
